An award-winning organisation within energy management and sustainability consultancy, Consultus is looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager to take ownership of our commercial arrangements and support our ambitious growth plans.

Your mission 

You'll be our go-to expert on all things contracts - commercially minded and legally sharp. Taking the lead on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements, you’ll help shape the foundations of new partnerships and projects across the Consultus Group. 

From detailed NDAs to complex service agreements tailored to each client, you’ll keep us covered, compliant, and commercially astute. What’s more, you’ll support our Net Zero divisions in building brand-new contract frameworks from the ground up; a rare chance to create, influence, and lead from the start. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Own the review, preparation, and negotiation of commercial contracts across our consultancy services 

• Draft NDAs, licensing, partnership, and procurement agreements 

• Build entirely new contracts to support our pioneering Net Zero projects (e.g. on-site solar/wind etc)

• Offer clear, pragmatic guidance on contractual risk and compliance 

• Coordinate the tender and RFP response process (note: you won’t manage bids, but you’ll ensure alignment and delivery) 

• Act as a strategic partner across teams, aligning contracts with business goals 

What you’ll bring 

• Strong, hands-on experience leading commercial contract work, ideally within a consultancy or service-led business 

• A proactive and inquisitive mindset

• The ability to manage contracts from start to finish; preparation, negotiation, implementation, and resolution 

• Excellent stakeholder management and a collaborative spirit 

• Desirable: Experience crafting contracts for implementation-led projects (e.g. solar, wind, energy infrastructure)/knowledge of Net Zero or energy transition contracting

Your credentials 

• At least 2 years’ experience in commercial contracts management 

• Bonus: IACCM/WorldCC certification or similar
