The role
You’ll collect, analyse, and manage ESG-related data from a variety of sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations. Your work will feed directly into the reporting, insights, and advice we give to clients.

What you’ll do

  • Gather and manage data on energy use, waste, water, fuel, and emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3)

  • Analyse performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Support clients’ compliance with ESG frameworks and schemes (SECR, ESOS, CCA, CHPQA)

  • Maintain accurate ESG databases and streamline reporting processes

  • Prepare clear, concise ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Stay up to date with legislation and best practice in ESG data and reporting

What you’ll bring
Essential:

  • Strong IT skills, especially advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables/charts, conditional formatting, data validation; macros desirable)

  • Excellent analytical skills – comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Knowledge of emissions reporting policies and practices

  • Understanding of climate change, Net Zero and ESG, and why they matter

  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualification or studies in Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Science, Energy, or related field (formal degree not essential)

  • Experience with reporting frameworks and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)

  • Understanding of Net Zero and energy reduction strategies

Sound like your kind of role?
We’re building our team with people who are curious, detail-focused, and committed to creating meaningful change. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.
