Location: Hybrid / Remote (Leicester office)
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 DOE

We’re looking for an ESG Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Data & Reporting Team, helping our clients meet their environmental and sustainability goals.

The role
You’ll collect, analyse, and manage ESG-related data from a variety of sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations. Your work will feed directly into the reporting, insights, and advice we give to clients.
What you’ll do
Gather and manage data on energy use, waste, water, fuel, and emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3)
Analyse performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
Support clients’ compliance with ESG frameworks and schemes (SECR, ESOS, CCA, CHPQA)
Maintain accurate ESG databases and streamline reporting processes
Prepare clear, concise ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders
Stay up to date with legislation and best practice in ESG data and reporting
What you’ll bring
Essential:
Strong IT skills, especially advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables/charts, conditional formatting, data validation; macros desirable)
Excellent analytical skills – comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Knowledge of emissions reporting policies and practices
Understanding of climate change, Net Zero and ESG, and why they matter
High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads
Desirable:
Relevant qualification or studies in Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Science, Energy, or related field (formal degree not essential)
Experience with reporting frameworks and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
Understanding of Net Zero and energy reduction strategies
