With your methodical mindset and strong ability to analyse and interpret large sets of data, alongside your passion for excellent service, this role will enable you to make informed decisions and recommendations for our clients.

Delivering Risk Management client positions in multiple territories, you’ll analyse wholesale market and third-party energy drivers, enabling informed decision-making regarding energy procurement and legislative changes affecting our clients.

Being involved in regular client communication and relationship management, you will have a strong client-orientated focus. Holding regular in-person meetings, calls and presentations, you’ll discuss hedged positions and market activity, recommending optimum strategies in line with client objectives, discussing market developments for both commodity and non-commodity costs, writing agreed strategies into a formal Risk Policy document.

You’ll be monitoring energy market price developments and the drivers behind these on an international basis. Understanding changes and cost implications for all markets, you’ll monitor legislation changes affecting customer costs.

The role is particularly well suited to someone with a background in risk and trading, with either a mathematical, risk management, business or economics degree. Speaking an additional language would also be beneficial, but is not essential. What you will need is:
