Senior Manager / Strategy Consultant - Net Zero

Using particular expertise in Scope 3 emissions, you’ll help lead one of our newest businesses within Consultus International Group, Consultus Sustainability, offering you the opportunity to influence the way we operate. You could be evaluating client data one day and exploring the development of new services the next, also managing your own team of Scope 3 Analysts.

Giving you ownership of our award-winning ‘Net Zero Pathway’, which gives people personalised options and explains the stages, investments and benefits involved, you’ll deliver Net Zero workshops with our clients to agree their Net Zero aspirations and delivery strategy.

Discussions with clients could include energy management opportunities, renewable energy generation, Scope 3 emissions categories, carbon reporting, and sustainability regulations, policies and processes, including wider ESG topics.

As Consultus Sustainability is a new business within Consultus International Group, this role offers all the development and advancement opportunities that come with a start-up, alongside the support and client base of an established consultancy.

This role comes with great autonomy and influence on strategic outputs, which requires a ‘big picture thinker’ with the leadership qualities required to nurture and develop a team of junior staff to achieve high-performance.

Our ambition is to work with client organisations over decades to achieve Net Zero, so we need a consultative relationship-builder with knowledge of climate change mitigation and Net Zero strategies. We are particularly looking to add knowledge of global and national policy drivers across Scopes 1, 2 & 3 (including any specialist funding mechanisms).

You’ll have proven track record of Net Zero consultancy project delivery, preferably with strong experience in tackling Scope 3 emissions, and experience of writing business cases for Net Zero consultancy projects, including evaluation of costs and benefits for the client.
